-
Vendor insurance is meant to protect the holder against lawsuits from third parties stemming from personal injury or property damage.
Insurance protects YOU in the case that you are sued as a result of participating in an event where you are selling your wares/work. It should cover accidents, damage, and litigation.
Liability insurance provides the attorney fees if you are sued. Otherwise you will be required to have representation and it will be on your own dime.
Depending on your policy it could provide replacement value for lost goods due to a number of factors.
It can be used for any event you participate in throughout the year and you can name additional insured based on the event if you get an annual policy.
-
There are several providers that offer one day or one weekend insurance policies. You often get a better rate or more coverage when purchasing a longer policy. If you plan to vend at more than one event during the year, consider the options. You should always call the insurance company to get the best information based on your personal needs.
Contact your own personal agent to see how they can help based on your own liability insurance.
ACT now offers a vintage seller policy. There are several other providers you can check out as well.
We offer a $10 off code for ACT use imadeit10

The Flea has a huge variety of small Pittsburgh businesses. Each Flea offers the opportunity to welcome, meet, and connect with not only new customers but new vendor friends.
We have a private Facebook group for our Flea community members to share info and ask questions.
Our sellers connect to create new opportunities to learn from one another and create collaborations. They celebrate PGH and our teams, our neighborhoods and the things that make us all unique. We love to pair new sellers with veteran sellers to assist in creating a fun and easy vending experience.
Our DJs set up an hour early to fuel some fun for our vendors and we offer waters whenever you need, and sometimes sweet treats.
The Neighborhood Flea has been popping up since 2014 and we welcome new members to our community with every market.
